RFQ

Request a Quote

Send the item detail and the turnaround required; a written quotation is returned.

What to Include

The first message can carry everything a quotation needs. Send these six:

  • Item. Manufacturer, model or type, range, and quantity.
  • Measurement. The points, ranges or parameters that must be covered.
  • Tolerance. The specification the item is held to, and whether a statement of conformity is required.
  • Standard. Any standard, customer specification or accreditation requirement the work must satisfy.
  • Turnaround. The date the item is needed back, and whether expedited handling should be priced.
  • Engagement type. Whether the item is shipped in, collected, or the work is carried out on site.

Anything missing is asked for before a price is issued — supplying it now shortens the exchange. Quotations are issued in writing and are valid for thirty days unless the quotation states otherwise.

Submit a Request

Capacity is checked against each submission and a response follows within one business day. Urgency noted in the scope field advances the request in the queue it is already in.

Fields with an asterisk must be completed.

A written quotation is sent back by email.

Before You Send

Quotations carry stated terms. The validity period, payment, turnaround and liability are set out in the terms and conditions. How results are reported, and what a certificate does and does not state, is covered on the disclaimer page.
